About us

PVC-coated fiberglass fabric, woven and coated in house.

Shandong Orenda New Materials Co., Ltd. is a manufacturer of PVC-coated fiberglass sunscreen fabric for exterior roller blinds and zip-screen systems.

Our plant in Xintai, Tai'an runs two dip-coating lines and ten German Dornier looms, with European-imported slitting, warping and heat-setting equipment. PVC is compounded in house, so formulation and colour consistency are controlled batch by batch. We supply blind manufacturers, zip-screen system suppliers and fabric distributors in Europe, North America, Australia and the Middle East.

How the fabric is made

Dip coating, not lamination.

PVC is drawn into each fiberglass yarn during coating, so the coating follows the weave instead of resting on top of it.

The fabric is woven from 165 tex fiberglass yarn at 18 x 14 yarns per centimetre, then dip-coated and heat-set. Finished weight is 530 g/m2 (+/-10) for the 3% range and 520 g/m2 (+/-10) for the 5% range, with a glass content of 42%. Because the polymer penetrates the yarn, cut edges stay clean under crush or ultrasonic cutting and the fabric can be welded thermally, by high frequency, ultrasonically or by sewing.

How we work

What buyers can hold us to.

These are commitments we can support with a document, not marketing lines.

01

Specification, not adjectives

Weight, thickness, yarn count, openness and width are stated as measured values with tolerances.

02

Reports with numbers

Fire and tensile results are given with the SGS report reference so a specifier can verify them.

03

No claim we cannot document

Where a test does not exist, we say so and omit the claim rather than approximate it.

04

Batch consistency

PVC is compounded in house, which keeps formulation and colour stable from batch to batch.
